Meet your Mandingalbay Yidjinji guide and push off from Cairns Marina in our River Cruise vessel, exploring the wetlands and mangrove forests of East Trinity Reserve. Customers enjoy exclusive access to an Indigenous Protected Area where ancient knowledge meets latest science to deliver world-first conservation and regeneration of nature three decades in the making.

Cruise along a river lined with one of the world's most diverse mangrove forests.

Upon arrival at the Stingray (Yulu) Shelter, our guides want to create a safe space for guests with a welcome to Country using traditional ochre (Mugra) painted on the face or forearm.

Listen to our Mandingalbay Yidinji guides speak of ancient language and dialects, cultural seasons, and traditional practices showcasing handmade implements, weapons and artifacts that are still made and used today.

Light Canapes and cold nonalcoholic beverages will be served throughout the evening.

After sunset, cruise quietly through the beautiful mangrove lined waterway, spotlighting for sleeping birds, jumping fish and crocodiles. Turning back into Cairns Harbour, and experiencing the lights of a tropical city at night before returning to the Marina, in the heart of the CBD.

Checkin in time is 5.15pm for 5.30pm Departure
Return time is 7.30pm
Guides will meet all passengers at Mooz Gelati and Juice Bar - Look for the Sandwich Board with our Logo. The Juice Bar is opposite the Salt House Restaurant. Meet here 15 minutes prior to departure. (approx 5.15pm)
