Begin your journey by exploring the Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu Waterfalls, located in Aik Berik Village at the foot of Mount Rinjani. Marvel at the two parallel cascades of Benang Stokel, which drop about 20–30 meters. Learn how "Stokel" in the local Sasak language means "a bundle of thread," referring to how the water resembles thick white strands.
Next, take a short walk or trek further up to reach Benang Kelambu Waterfall. See how the water emerges directly through lush vegetation on a cliff face, cascading down tiered terraces like delicate curtains ("kelambu" means net or curtain).
Continue to Sukarara Village, a renowned traditional weaving village in Central Lombok, famous for handwoven Sasak textiles. Watch local women demonstrate traditional handloom weaving (tenun ikat and songket). Try weaving, wear traditional Sasak attire for photos, and tour traditional Sasak houses (Bale Tani).
