Day 1 – Arrive in Paro | Bhutan Photography Experience
Meet your private guide at Paro International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, explore the peaceful Paro Valley. Walk through traditional streets and agricultural areas, photographing Bhutanese homes, prayer flags, mountain scenery and everyday village life. Visit Rinpung Dzong and enjoy the soft afternoon light for architectural and landscape photography.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner and experience local hospitality.

Day 2 – Paro → Thimphu | Forest Birds & Local Life
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu through winding mountain roads and forested landscapes. Stop at suitable viewpoints and natural areas whenever bird activity or photography opportunities appear.
With your guide, explore suitable forest and riverside habitats and observe Bhutanese birdlife in its natural surroundings. Take your time to photograph birds, forests and landscapes rather than rushing between locations.

Stay: Thimphu
Day 3 – Thimphu → Dochula → Punakha | Himalayan Landscapes
Leave after breakfast for Punakha. Stop at Dochula Pass, where prayer flags, mountain scenery and changing Himalayan weather create beautiful photography opportunities.
Continue through forested mountain roads to Punakha and visit the impressive Punakha Dzong, beautifully positioned between two rivers. Explore the surrounding countryside at a relaxed pace, photographing rivers, farmland, traditional homes and birdlife where conditions are suitable.
Enjoy a locally prepared dinner and a peaceful evening in the Punakha Valley.
Stay: Punakha
Day 4 – Punakha → Phobjikha | Nature & Seasonal Cranes
After breakfast, travel to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley, surrounded by forests and mountains. Take a gentle nature walk with your guide and observe birds in their natural habitat. Slow down for photography of birds, meadows, villages, prayer flags and changing mountain light.
During winter, when black-necked cranes are present, there may be opportunities to observe and photograph them in the valley. Sightings depend on season, weather and natural movements.
Visit Gangtey Monastery and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before a traditional dinner at your accommodation.
Stay: Phobjikha
Day 5 – Phobjikha → Paro | Sunrise Photography & Departure
