Day 1: Arrival in Paro & Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and begin your Bhutanese adventure with a sightseeing tour of Paro Valley. Visit some of Paro's most important cultural landmarks, including Rinpung Dzong, a magnificent fortress-monastery overlooking the valley, the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in a historic watchtower, and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred temples.

Explore the charming streets and traditional architecture of Paro Town. Enjoy a leisurely evening in Paro and acclimatize to Bhutan's mountain environment.

Day 2: Tiger's Nest Hike & Transfer to Thimphu

After breakfast, embark on a memorable hike to the legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), Bhutan's most iconic landmark. Perched dramatically on a cliffside approximately 900 meters above the valley floor, the monastery offers stunning views and profound spiritual significance. The hike takes approximately 4–5 hours round trip, with opportunities to rest and enjoy panoramic scenery along the way.

After lunch, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city. Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour featuring Memorial Chorten, Clock Tower Square, and local handicraft shops and markets.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing & Return to Paro via Haa Valley

Begin the day exploring the cultural highlights of Thimphu. Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the world's largest seated Buddha statues, Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan's government and monastic body, and Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan's national animal.

After sightseeing, journey back to Paro through the scenic route via the beautiful Haa Valley. Highlights of the excursion include crossing the breathtaking Chele La Pass (3,988 meters), Bhutan's highest motorable pass, panoramic Himalayan mountain views on clear days, traditional villages and rural landscapes in Haa Valley, and opportunities to experience one of Bhutan's most untouched regions.
