Venture across the Uyuni Salt Flats from La Paz, surrounded by giant cacti, surreal landscapes, creative perspectives, and unforgettable sunset views, ending in Uyuni.
DAY 1 – OVERNIGHT JOURNEY FROM LA PAZ TO UYUNI
Start your 2-day experience in La Paz with check-in at the bus office at approximately 8:30 PM. At 9:00 PM, board your VIP overnight bus to Uyuni. Settle into a reclining seat and enjoy Starlink Wi-Fi, heating, an onboard restroom, and a polar blanket. Dinner and breakfast are included during the overnight journey.
DAY 2 – SALT FLATS, CACTI & SUNSET
Arrive in Uyuni at approximately 7:30 AM, where our team will welcome you at the bus office. You will then be accompanied to a nearby café, where you can relax and enjoy some free time before returning to our office for check-in. Meet your driver and guide, receive a short briefing about the experience, and get ready for your Salt Flats adventure.
Depart at approximately 10:30 AM.
Train Cemetery – Explore a fascinating collection of old locomotives and discover traces of Uyuni’s historic railway heritage.
Colchani – Stop in this traditional community to discover local salt-processing methods and browse handicrafts made from salt, alpaca wool, and llama wool.
Uyuni Salt Flats – Travel across the vast white landscape, visiting the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, Salt Hotel Museum, Flags of the World, and the iconic Dakar Monument.
Incahuasi Island – Follow trails among giant cacti and ancient coral formations while admiring panoramic views across the surrounding salt flats.
Perspective Photos – Use the seemingly endless horizon to create playful optical-illusion photographs and memorable shots.
Sunset on the Salar – Experience the changing colors of the Salt Flats at sunset while enjoying wine and chips.
Arrival in Uyuni – Return to Uyuni at approximately 7:30 PM, marking the end of your 2-day journey.
