Enjoy a full-day tour that takes you to the village of Sintra and Cascais. You’ll visit a beautiful area of Portugal, featuring amazing history.
Your full-day private guided tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Lisbon. The itinerary starts with driving by the Queluz Palace, just outside of Lisbon, one of the royal palaces we will visit during the day.
Next we will visit the charming Sintra village. Enjoy some time to savor traditional Portuguese pastries at a local tea house, do some shopping and take a tour of the Royal Village Palace. This historic site, originally an 11th-century Moorish construction, has evolved over the centuries and is now famous for its distinctive twin chimneys overlooking the town. Depending on your preferences and schedule, lunch can be enjoyed either in the village or at a nearby beach.
After we leave Sintra we will visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, known for it's breathtaking landscapes.
The tour continues with a stop at the picturesque Royal Village of Cascais, passing Guincho Beach and the dramatic Hell’s Mouth, a unique natural formation of caves. On your scenic coastal drive back to Lisbon, you'll see several renowned beaches, including Carcavelos, a popular surfing destination. You’ll arrive back at your accommodation around 5:00 PM.
As this is a private tour, parts can be customized/changed, if you need to change any aspect, please contact us so we can plan the day in the best way.
The Half Day Option is a shorter visit to the town, without visiting the inside of any Palace and a more panoramic tour of the locations mentioned.
