Lagoa Azul Natural Aquarium: this natural aquarium got its name from the 80s movie classic starring Brooke Shields. Its turquoise waters, with multicolored fish and cinematic beauty, make it one of the most visited and admired spots in Ilha Grande Bay. The huge pool is a sanctuary of marine life with incredible biodiversity.

Araçá Beach: simply charming, this small and quiet strip of sand is surrounded by large rocks and preserved Atlantic Forest. You can get there by sea or, if you're coming from Freguesia de Santana, by a trail that takes about 10 minutes and passes by a famous late 19th-century church. Nature lovers who prefer a place to relax will find it tailor-made.

Ilhas Botinas Natural Aquarium: they are to Angra what Christ the Redeemer is to Rio de Janeiro! Our best-known postcard. Its formation resembles two boots when viewed from above, which is why it was named that way.

Praia das Flechas: the lush vegetation around it makes the emerald green of the Atlantic Forest reflect in the sea that bathes this beach. With a long stretch of sand, Praia das Flechas is perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet, as well as those who like a party, especially on sunny weekends when the place gets busy.

At Santa Luzia Station (downtown), the meeting time is 11:15 a.m. and boarding is at 11:30 a.m.

The tour is on a schooner-type vessel, with a capacity of up to 140 to 180 people, and is shared with other passengers. The vessel is piloted by a fully qualified sailor.

At each stop, you can get off the schooner to swim in the sea. The tour lasts 5 hours, including stops and travel time. Each stop is about 40 minutes, with a 1-hour lunch break.
The Botinas Islands and the Blue Lagoon are natural aquariums, with no pier or sandy shore for disembarking. So, it's important to know how to swim if you want to get off the boat. Restrooms will be available at the start of the tour: at the boarding point (Cais Santa Luzia), on board (male and female), and at the last stop: Praia das Flechas, at the restaurant. The meal isn't included in the tour and must be paid directly to the food supplier by the customer.
