São Paulo: Street Carnival (blocos) - private group

Street carnival, known as blocos with a local guide. We’ll focus on traditional blocos away from the biggest crowds, for a more authentic and comfortable experience. Only on a few days in February!!!
Experience only for you or your group! This means that only one group or person can participate. There won’t be other customers in the same activity.

Experience the energy of Brazil’s street carnival (blocos) up close and without stress. We’ll meet at an agreed time around noon and start with a short briefing: how the carnival works, how to move safely through the crowd, what to do to protect your belongings, and how to make the most of the day. I’ll help with practical tips, explain local traditions and carnival customs, so you get not only fun but also context.

Then we’ll head together to the chosen bloco. Even on the way you’ll feel the city transform, costumes, glitter, music, drums and singing, people of all ages, and a friendly, celebratory atmosphere. Once the bloco begins, we’ll let the rhythm take over: you’ll be able to dance, sing, and watch the band and the parade. We focus on more traditional blocos that feel more authentic and are often more enjoyable than the biggest “massive” crowds.

During the carnival I’ll take photos and share them with you after the event. At the end, I’ll also recommend local bars or restaurants, because after a few hours of dancing, you’ll almost certainly be hungry. The experience is run in a small group, and the plan may be adjusted slightly depending on the official schedule, to make your carnival experience the best possible.
