Embark on a truly unique wilderness adventure on the Kootenay River. Navigate class II-III rapids, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. Paddle through calmer sections and hit the rapids for a mix of adventure. The Kootenay River is an activity that is safe & fun for every member of your family or group.
After meeting in Radium Hot Springs, we drive you out to the river, through Kootenay National Park. Enjoy or informative and entertaining guides, while wildlife spotting starts before you even hit the river.
At the river we provide neoprene river booties, helmets, and life jackets & splash jackets & pants if needed. Small children (typically those 8 and under, depending on size) are also provided wetsuits.
Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Canadian Rockies as you escape into the heart of nature and paddle the legendary Kootenay River. Enjoy a riverside snack or lunch, depending on your tour.
After the stunning views and fun rapids we will drive you back to our meeting point in Radium Hot Springs where you can browse souvenirs and merchandise. Memories are captured & free photos are provided daily to the operators Facebook page.

Arrive no later than 30 minutes before your trip
Release of Liability waiver must be signed before departure
Participants under 15 years must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed on the trip with no refund
Due to the remote nature of the trips, not all food allergies can be accommodated
Photos are provided for free but not guaranteed
All of our Kootenay trips depart from our main office in Radium Hot Springs.
The address is 4987 Hwy #93, Radium Hot Springs. If using Google maps, please ensure you choose the correct location, as we have 3 sites. Please be aware there is construction on the highway between Radium and Invermere so plan accordingly.
