What are we going to do?
Moment 1: THE CUSTOMER PROFILE is the target group we are going to address to design our collection, we are interested in capturing sensitivities and atmospheres. The customer profile is the beginning of the Collection Study Stage and in this experience; we explore the imaginary identity, scenarios, tastes, colors and shapes of a consumer's habits.
Moment 2: INSPIRATION is the object of communication that helps us connect with our customer profile. With inspiration we open the Design Stage and our Portfolio, which is our great treasure of research and travel log. In it we will include all the material and content that we collect during our creative journey: we cut, draw, paint, write, cross out, paste.
Moment 3: THE COLOR CHART is the chromatic atmosphere that we are going to use for our collection. For this pictorial moment we move with easel, stretcher and picnic in hand to the nature of the open air. Here we will think only about color, lights, shadows and contrasts that the landscape gives us, all to understand the deep relationship between the color of the landscape and our inner world.
Moment 4: THE TEXTILE LETTER is the material and inputs that we will choose for the Collection, aligned to the research that gives us our Design Portfolio. We will weave in the park a piece of fabric with weft and warp a taffeta; with wool yarn on a home loom.
Moment 5: DESIGN is the creative act resolved in drawing prototypes. We begin by learning how to make a fashion pattern in a practical way to create the design idea of our collection. We will put on the work table all the information we have collected previously aligned to our Design Portfolio. We click on our sensitive sense; we will think about silhouettes, shapes and textures.
Moment 6: PATTERN is the engineering in plans and exploded views of the interpretation of our design. We will learn how to lay out, trace and cut the molds in a basic way, creating a three-dimensional bodice in cardboard, to understand the silhouette of our collection.
Moment 7: LAUNCHING is the presentation and support of our finished project. This launching will be done with the presentation of our design portfolio & prototypes; this symbolizes the closing of our creative process and experience.
