Description

Embark on a 5-day trek to the Lost City of Teyuna from Santa Marta. Discover the ancient Tayrona civilization, visit the indigenous village of Mutanyi, and enjoy local meals along the way.
Day 1: Santa Marta to Cabaña de Adam

Begin your Lost City trek in Santa Marta at 9:00 AM. Travel by car for approximately 2.5 hours to the region of Mamey, where you’ll enjoy lunch and a short break.

Afterward, embark on a 3-hour hike to the first station, known as Cabaña de Adam. Enjoy the natural pool at the Honduras stream or continue to Cabaña de Alfredo. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM, and you’ll sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets.

Day 2: Cabaña Adam to Mutanyi

Depart from Cabaña Adam and hike 14.7 kilometers to Cabaña Paraíso, a journey that takes approximately 8 hours. Along the way, visit the indigenous village of Mutanyi, a perfect spot for photos and interaction with the locals.

Enjoy the refreshing waters of the Buritaca River. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, and you’ll sleep in beds or hammocks with mosquito nets.

Day 3: Cabaña Paraíso to Ciudad Perdida

Leave Cabaña Paraíso and head to the Lost City. Your guide will lead you through the site, sharing its history during a 3-hour tour. After exploring, hike 7.6 kilometers back to Cabaña Mumake, a journey of about 4 hours.

Enjoy recreational activities, meals, and accommodation at the cabin.

Day 4: Cabaña Mumake to Cabaña Alfredo

Hike back to Cabaña de Adam or Cabaña de Alfredo, arriving around noon. Relax in the natural pool at the Honduras stream. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, and you’ll sleep in beds or hammocks with mosquito nets.

Day 5: Cabaña Alfredo to Santa Marta

Have breakfast at Cabaña de Adam at 7:00 AM, then begin your 3-hour hike back to the Mamey region. Arrive around 1:00 PM for lunch and a short rest. Finally, return by vehicle to Santa Marta, arriving at 5:00 PM.
