Medellín: Guatapé & El Peñol with Hotel Pick Up

Explore Guatapé and El Peñol Rock on a full-day tour from Medellín. Enjoy a party boat ride, visit the Rock Temple, see llamas, and explore the colorful town of Guatapé.
Begin with a pickup from your hotel in El Poblado or Laureles, or meet at a designated meeting point in Medellín. Travel in a modern bus with air conditioning and reclining seats. Be accompanied all day by a bilingual guide (Spanish/English).

Make an early stop for a traditional Colombian breakfast at a partner roadside restaurant. Then, continue to New Peñol to see the Phoenix monument and visit the Rock Temple (Templo Roca), a church built inside a massive rock. Explore the interior and admire religious art.

Next, stop at Alto del Chocho, known for scenic views, local crafts, and animal encounters. See llamas, ponies, goats, and horses, and optionally purchase approved feed to interact with them.
