Discover the most natural side of Medellín on a hiking experience in Santa Elena and Arví Park, personally guided by me, Felipe Tamayo. I designed this tour for those who want to get off the beaten track and connect with the mountains, even if they only have a limited amount of time in the city.

Your experience begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Medellín. From there, we'll head to Santa Elena, a rural area rich in tradition, fresh air, and verdant landscapes. As we ascend, you will feel the atmosphere change: we leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and enter a peaceful, natural setting.

We will begin a hike of approximately 11 km (7 miles), lasting 4 to 5 hours, following trails surrounded by native forests, lush vegetation, and the sounds of nature. During the tour, I will share with you local stories, information about the ecosystem, and cultural insights that will make this experience much more enriching than a simple hike.

One of the most special moments will be our arrival at the lagoon, a place enveloped in tranquility, perfect for taking a break, enjoying the scenery, and recharging your batteries. There, you can connect with your surroundings, take photos, and experience a truly authentic moment away from mass tourism.

The experience includes transportation to and from your hotel in Medellín, a snack and coffee during the tour, a professional local guide, and medical assistance insurance.

To enjoy the hike to the fullest, I recommend wearing comfortable clothing, proper hiking shoes, sunscreen, and bringing plenty of water and a light jacket, as the weather can change in the mountains.
