Skip the launch-site queue at San Félix and fly with an instructor-level pilot who holds USHPA, FAI and APPI certifications and has logged 25+ years in the sky over Medellín. While other tours wait their turn on the hill, your priority access means more flying, less standing around.

After hotel pickup in Medellín, you'll head up to San Félix for a traditional breakfast and a full safety briefing. Once geared up with helmet, harness and paraglider, your pilot will ask one question: do you want a relaxing glide to soak in the views of the valley, mountains and San Félix Dam, or do you want acrobatic maneuvers and a real adrenaline kick? Either way, it's a 15-minute tandem flight tailored to you.

The launch sits high above the Aburrá Valley, with thermals that often let birds glide right beside you and — on the right days — a chance to fly through a cloud. Photos and video of your flight are included, so you leave with proof, not just memories. Groups are capped at 10 to keep transport and ground time efficient. Round-trip drop-off at your hotel closes the day.

The best times for this activity, throughout the year, are in the morning between 9 am and 12 pm when we have a thermal flight. Only in the months of June, July, December, and January, when the weather is not rainy or unstable, can it be done in the afternoons, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
