Explore the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit Chinchero, Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq with a bilingual tour guide, in a small group, and with a buffet lunch in Urubamba.
At 6:30 AM, the experience begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco to head to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop will be Chinchero, where you'll learn about the ancestral techniques of weaving and natural dyeing that are still preserved by the Andean communities. You'll then visit Moray, an impressive complex of circular terraces considered the agricultural laboratory of the Incas, followed by the famous Salineras de Maras, a spectacular landscape formed by thousands of salt ponds that continue to be exploited in the traditional way. At noon, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, prepared with fresh ingredients from the region. In the afternoon, you'll explore Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns and home to an imposing fortress of great historical and strategic importance. Finally, you'll visit Pisac, where you'll tour its outstanding archaeological site and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley. After a day full of history, culture, and unforgettable landscapes, you'll return to Cusco around 7:00 PM while taking in the beautiful colors of the sunset over the Andes.
