Description
We're going on a 10 km hike to the summit of Mount Teide, the highest peak of Spain, with amazing views of Tenerife and the surrounding islands.
We'll take the cable car down if it's running.
We going to meet in the morning in the car park near the cable car parking and after checking the materials and we start the hiking ( 10 km distance, 1500 meter positive elevation).
Normally it takes 5-6 hours to reach the summit, on the way up we can stop several times to observe the authentic flora, fauna or volcanic rock shapes.
On the top of el Teide we can enjoy the amazing view of the whole Tenerife and the surrounding islands.
Next stop is the cable car for an exciting ride down to the starting point near the car park.
Cable car tickets (22 euros/person) not included in the price.
*The cable car working only in good weather conditions ( if the wind is less than 35 km/h).
**If the cable car is not working we going to walk down by foot ( in this case total distance is 20 im).

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
All participants must be in good physical condition
This activity includes 6 miles (10 km) of hiking to an elevation of 12,188 ft (3,715 meters)
In case of good weather, you will come down by cable car
If the weather is bad, you will need to walk down the mountain for 6 miles (10 km)
Ensure you have 2 to 3 liters of water with you and enough food
Make sure you eat enough food before the activity and hydrate yourself and have 2-3 hours nap.
The meeting point is in the car park of the Teleferico del Teide (the cable car).
