Paddle through the scenic, clean, and meandering Luce Bayou on a guided kayaking tour. Explore the bayou's narrow and shallow upper reaches, and its wider and deeper downstream. Keep an eye out for wildlife and enjoy a peaceful day on the water.
Meet your guide and receive a safety briefing and on-land instruction. Get fitted with a sit-in touring kayak, life jacket, and paddle, and set off on your adventure. Paddle through the bayou's meandering channels, lined with hardwood forests and aged pine, oak, and cypress trees.
Keep an eye out for a variety of mammals such as raccoons and beavers. Spot a diverse bird fauna including osprey, roseate spoonbill, egrets, herons, and pelicans. Relax on the quiet waters and enjoy the natural scenery.
After your adventure, return to the shore and change into dry clothes if needed.
