This is the smallest raft available, AND it's the only pure paddle raft left in Jackson Hole. Wetter & bumpier = more excitement! Up to 8 rafters, or book a private raft with a minimum of 4 adults.
The Snake River offers Class II-III whitewater rafting, (beginner to intermediate Level) with lots of big waves that are exciting without being scary. With few rocks in this clear channel rive, it's appropriate for kids as young as 6, but provides thrills for anyone. This trip includes 8 miles of river and takes about 1.5 hours to raft on the water.
Start your adventure with the check-in at our headquarters at 180 Powderhorn Lane, Jackson WY. At check-in, we'll ensure you are prepped for your trip with free wetsuits for kids (12 and under) and rental gear for adults including river shoes, wetsuits, and neoprene jackets. Secure footwear is required (no Crocs, flips, or slides). Dress to get wet in quick-dry clothing or rent gear like wetsuits and river shoes at check-in, we make it easy! Rain jackets are provided free at the river. The trip to the river is 25 miles south of our office and takes about 35 minutes via bus. Your expert guide will meet you at the rive and fit you with life jackets and rain jackets, provide safety instructions and boat assignments for those who want to paddle and those who don't, there is a spot for everyone. Your experienced boatman will expertly guide your raft through rapids like Lunch Counter and Big Kahuna, Ropes, Double Draw, S-Turns, Cottonwood, and Champagne. It's a great way to spend the day with beautiful views of the Snake River Canyon. When you've rafted all the rapids you will exit the river at Sheep Gulch Boat Ramp. There is a short uphill trail to the bus where our driver will be waiting for you. Dry clothes and other personal items may be left on the bus.
