Begin your adventure at Sugarloaf Key, a tranquil island surrounded by lush mangroves and part of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. After a brief introduction and safety briefing, set out across the bay, where the calm, clear waters reveal starfish, tropical fish, nurse sharks, sea turtles, and colorful corals beneath your kayak. Your guide will point out hidden wonders and share stories about the wildlife and the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge.
Continue your journey into the mangrove tunnels, where you’ll experience the peacefulness of the backcountry and spot even more marine life. The tour is designed for small groups, ensuring a personal and interactive experience. No prior kayaking experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. The tour concludes back at Sugarloaf Marina, leaving you free to explore more of the Keys or relax by the water.

Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level.
For your safety, we have a weight limit of 250 lbs per guest, and a combined limit of 425 lbs for two people in a tandem kayak.
We launch near the boat ramp's right-hand side at Sugarloaf Marina. The boat ramp is located behind the retail storefronts. Look for the white enclosed trailer near the water (you should also see the clear kayaks there!) where you will meet your tour guide!
