The Portland Pub Walk is a leisurely 3-stop, 1 mile stroll through Portland’s Old Port. This is a journey through Maine's unique history with Portland's finest beer in hand.
Portland, Maine, is a bustling hub for breweries, distilleries, beer bars, and cocktail lounges—a far cry from its historical stance against consumption. Ironically, it was Maine’s early adoption of Prohibition that set the stage for today’s booming craft libation scene, inspiring producers, restaurateurs, and creatives alike.
On this tasting-focused walking tour, you’ll explore Portland’s beer culture past and present with guided stops at three standout breweries:
• Shipyard Brewing Company, a cornerstone of Maine’s craft beer movement for over a quarter-century.
• Brickyard Hollow, a fast-rising local favorite known for its creative brews and community vibe.
• Camp Pennant, a newer addition to Portland’s beer scene, serving up inventive beers in a fun, camp-inspired setting.
