Description
Savannah is famous for Ghosts AND Spirits - the kind in a bottle! Take your drink to go and join Patrick Burns, star of TruTV's "Haunting Evidence" on tour in Savannah's haunted historic district.
Your tour begins in Savannah's historic Chippewa Square. You'll meet your tour guide, Patrick Burns, AKA "The Guy in the Kilt." Patrick is an accomplished paranormal investigator / ghost hunter with over 35 years of experience. He starred on the TruTV program "Haunting Evidence." Patrick will introduce himself, and explain how he became immersed in the paranormal as a teen.
(You'll find more about him on Wikipedia and IMDB.)
After introducing himself, Patrick will give you a brief historical rundown of Savannah, and the possible reasons it may be the most haunted city in America.
Then, Patrick will lead you on a journey through the historic district, telling you about his own, personal encounters with the paranormal at locations on the tour, as well as several bar stops along the way.
"In Savannah, you always take a "traveler." Areas of the historic district that you will visit have an open alcoholic container policy. As long as your libation is in a "traveler" plastic cup (and your are at least 21 years of age)... you can order your drink to go!
The tour runs approximately 90 minutes, but may run 2+ hours, depending on the wait time at drinking establishments.
Other locations our tours frequent (actual stops on each tour may vary.)
*Madison Square - location of one of the bloodiest battles of the American Revolutionary War.
*Savanah's Antique row - Learn about how physical objects might actually become haunted.
*Mercer Williams House - Setting for the best selling novel and movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil."
*Calhoun Square - perhaps THE most actively haunted location in Savannah.
*Lafayette Square - a frequent location where ghostly apparitions are seen.
*The Old Dueling Grounds - where "distinguished gentlemen" of colonial Savannah went to settle their disputes.
*Colonial Park Cemetery - Savannah's oldest existing Cemetery.
*Marshal House Hotel - among the 10 most haunted hotels in the US.
You'll return to your starting location of Chippewa Square to wrap up the tour.
Patrick loves interaction with his tour participants, and frequently stays after the tour has ended to chat and take photos. So don't be shy about asking questions!
