Set off early in the morning for a 12km guided hike, starting from Valmy. Climb up to the Massane tower (700m elevation gain) to enjoy open views of the sea and mountains.
Meet early in the morning at the Valmy parking lot in Argelès-sur-Mer for a guided hike in the heart of the Albères Massif. The early start allows you to enjoy the cool air, the tranquility, and the perfect light on the landscapes.
The hike begins with a visit to the Valmy Chapel, before a gradual ascent through the Mediterranean forest. The trail leads to the Massane Tower, an iconic landmark of the massif, offering sweeping views of the Côte Vermeille, the Roussillon plain, and the surrounding hills.
The pace is adapted to the group, with regular breaks to rest, hydrate, and appreciate the natural surroundings. After the time spent at the summit, the descent follows a different or complementary route, offering a variety of landscapes and atmospheres.
This morning hike is suitable for people in good physical condition, capable of walking for several hours on varied terrain. We are doing a 12km round trip, with 700m of elevation gain and 700m of elevation loss. We plan to return to the starting point in the late morning, leaving the afternoon free to enjoy the region.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
Bring at least 1.5 liters of water per person: there are no water sources between the start and finish.
The trail is accessible but includes rocky sections; appropriate footwear is essential.
In case of uncertain or overcast weather, a waterproof jacket (rain jacket) is recommended.
Conditions can vary significantly: warm at the start, strong winds at the summit. Dress accordingly.
