All tours begin with a guided walk around the exterior of Notre-Dame. Your guide will bring the Gothic façade to life, explaining the sculpted portals, rose windows, gargoyles, and flying buttresses, as well as the remarkable restoration work carried out after the 2019 fire.
From there, your visit continues according to the option you choose:
Option 1: Guided Interior & Exterior Tour (maximum 5 people)
Enjoy a complete guided experience, inside and out. After exploring the exterior, your specialist guide will accompany you into the cathedral for an in-depth visit of the newly restored interior, revealing its architecture, symbolism, and sacred spaces.
Option 2: Exterior Guided Tour with Independent Interior Visit (maximum 20 people)
Take part in a guided tour of the exterior, then continue inside the cathedral on your own. This option combines expert explanations outside with the freedom to explore the interior at your own pace.
Option 3: Private Interior & Exterior Guided Tour
Experience Notre-Dame on a private tour with a dedicated guide. Enjoy personalized commentary, a flexible pace, and full guided access to both the exterior and interior.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
Dress code: Modest attire is required. Shoulders must be covered, and shorts or skirts must be at least knee-length. Sleeveless tops are not permitted.
Cathedral access: Entry to Notre-Dame Cathedral is free. The guided services provided are independent of entry to the building.
Group size: Interior tours are limited to 5 pax. Groups may be divided if necessary.
Religious services: If your visit coincides with a Mass, guides are not permitted to provide commentary inside the cathedral. Please check the official Notre-Dame website for the Mass schedule, as services may affect your experience.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated and are considered a no-show.
Exceptional closures: Notre-Dame Cathedral may close at short notice. We recommend checking the official website of Notre Dame paris in advance. If the interior is closed, an extended exterior guided tour (approx. 1 hour) will be offered instead.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your selected start time at the Statue of Charlemagne, near the old lift by Notre-Dame Cathedral. Your guide will be waiting there holding a sign with the company name The Strangers Den.
