Your day begins with a comfortable transfer from your hotel to Filerimos, one of the island's most scenic and historic hills. Enjoy free time to explore the monastery area, walk along the famous Way of the Cross and take in the panoramic views across Rhodes and the Aegean.
From Filerimos, continue to the Valley of the Butterflies, one of Rhodes' most unique natural attractions. Follow the peaceful paths through the green valley, alongside streams and beneath the trees, and take your time discovering this beautiful natural setting independently.
During the summer months, the valley is especially known for the thousands of butterflies that can be found resting among the trees. Butterfly sightings are seasonal and depend on natural conditions.
After exploring Filerimos and the Valley of the Butterflies, continue to a local winery for a relaxed tasting experience — the perfect bonus at the end of your day. Learn a little about local wine production and taste a selection of traditional Rhodes wines, including a taste of the island's famous local spirit, souma.

This is a self-guided experience. There is no live guide accompanying you at Filerimos or in the Valley of the Butterflies.
You will have free time to explore both locations independently.
Butterfly activity is seasonal. The greatest concentration of butterflies is normally seen from around mid-June to mid-September, depending on weather and natural conditions.
The Valley of the Butterflies is also worth visiting outside peak butterfly season for its beautiful woodland paths, streams and natural scenery.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Some walking paths can be uneven or include steps and slopes.
Bring water, sunscreen and a hat, especially during the summer months.
Entrance fees are not included unless specifically stated in your booking option.
The winery visit includes the advertised wine tasting. Additional food and drinks are not included.
