Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta Train Station, or Adisucipto Airport, and meet your English-speaking guide. Then travel to the Mount Merapi jeep basecamp for an exciting off-road experience.
Climb into a 4x4 jeep and follow the Merapi Lava Tour route across volcanic landscapes shaped by past eruptions. Along the way, you’ll stop at popular points of interest such as the Merapi Bunker, the area known for Mbah Maridjan’s story, and the unique Batu Alien rock formation. Depending on conditions, the ride also includes a fun water-maneuver section.
