Join a hands-on chopstick-making workshop in Kyoto and create a unique souvenir to take home. Choose from 6 different types of wood, each offering a different color, grain, texture, and character. Once you’ve selected your favorite, your friendly instructor will guide you through the process of shaping, smoothing, and finishing your chopsticks by hand.
No woodworking experience is needed. The workshop is designed for complete beginners, making it a fun and easy activity for couples, families, friends, and solo travelers.
Want to make your chopsticks even more personal? Optional engraving is available for an additional fee, allowing you to add your name, initials, or a special word to your finished pair.
