The capital of Malta which is Valletta, a 16th century planned city built by the Knights of St John. The city is rightly considered an open-air museum as Valletta offers some of the most remarkable landmarks and stories. Not to miss for sure is St John's Co-Cathedral, guaranteed to be one of the most decorated buildings you'll ever see.

The Cottonera area which are refered to as the three cities. Designed to withstand a long siege, these cities are surrounded by impressive fortification walls and bastions.

A prehistoric temple site is a considered a must see. These temples showcase the first ever manmade structures, built and inhabited by a long lost people from the stoneage period.

The Blue Grotto offers visitors a boat ride into a cave which reflects the sunlight in a way that the turqouis water glows right beneath you.

A must see would be the old capital of Malta. Mdina offers a deep dive into a medieval noble city with its origins dating back to the 8th century BC.

The nearby cliffs of Dingli can cause some vertigo as these breathtaking cliffs stand at 820ft (250m) with some parts ending in a sheer drop off.

The famous Mosta Church will surely prompt you to take out your camera. The impressive unsupported dome is based upon the Pantheon in Rome and even survived a bombing during WW2.

A drive up north around the coast of Malta with multiple stops will takes us away from the busy urban part of the island, offering amazing vistas and landmarks.
