Here's the detailed itinerary:
Departure: The tour starts early with pick-ups at three points in Mexico City:
5:30 am - Downtown Area (Behind the Palace of Fine Arts)
6:00 am - General Anaya Metro (South location)
6:30 am - Juanacatlán Metro (central location)
Sierra Chincua: You'll arrive at the sanctuary around 10:00 a.m.
You'll have free time for breakfast at the regional food stalls (breakfast not included).
At 11:00 a.m., we'll start a guided walk of about 2 km on a dirt road to observe the monarch butterflies.
Get ready for a unique show! Afterwards, you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
Tlalpujahua: At 1:30 p.m., we'll head to Tlalpujahua.
You'll enjoy:
Lunch at the "La Parroquia" Restaurant (lunch not included).
Guided tour of the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Carmen (4:00 p.m.).
Visit and tasting at a liquor and canning house, Santa Claus House, and the town center (4:30 p.m.).
Guided tour of "Los Vestigios" (5:30 p.m.).
Return: Departure from Tlalpujahua at 6:30 PM and estimated arrival in Mexico City around 9:30 PM.
