A bike ride full of adrenaline, single tracks with cool descends and climbs where you will appreciate the beauty of Oaxaca`s mountains, natural landscapes, fauna, and culture.
We will start by pedaling for 20 minutes until we leave the city and then begin ascend 400mts on road/pavement until we reach the top of the ruins of Monte Albán which will take approximately 40 minutes. Once at the top we will rest for a while, visit the museum and eat a snack while admire an incredible and not very known view of the central valleys and the urban area of Oaxaca that, together with majestic mountains and beautiful clouds, make an excellent scene for incredible photos, after a 20minutes rest we will star our first descend though ecological dirt trails of medium difficulty riding though agaves and trees until we reach the middle of our route in a local store where we can resupply ourselves with water and food, this descends will take us 40minutos approximately.

Once rested we will climb the last 200mts on road to the top of the Atzompa ruins that are free entrance, we will get to know it 20minuts to finally take our last descent that leads directly to a not very known natural spring water that comes directly from the mountain and that is safe to drink and refill our bottles, after this, we will ride to the historic center of the city enjoying all the cultural wealth, colors and art that abounds in all its streets.

This activity requires intermediate-advanced mountain biking experience.
