Description
Discover the beauty of Montenegro’s coastline on a speedboat tour from Kotor. Visit the island church of Our Lady of the Rocks, explore the Blue Cave, and see the Yugoslav submarine tunnels.
Begin your adventure in Kotor, where you’ll board a modern and comfortable speedboat and start cruising through one of the most beautiful bays in the world. As you leave Kotor behind, enjoy breathtaking views of ancient stone villages, dramatic mountains, and the peaceful Adriatic coastline.
Pass the charming baroque town of Perast, one of the most photogenic places in the bay. Stop for approximately 25 minutes to visit the famous island church Our Lady of the Rocks, a unique man-made island rich in local legends, history, and stunning views. Explore the church, museum, and take photos of this iconic landmark.
After leaving Perast, continue the journey through the narrow Verige Strait and across the beautiful Tivat Bay. Along the way, enjoy panoramic coastal scenery while your skipper shares interesting stories about the bay and its history.
Next, arrive at the mysterious former Yugoslav submarine tunnels, hidden inside the mountains along the coast. Enter one of these impressive military tunnels by speedboat and stop for around 10 minutes so you can experience this fascinating Cold War location and take unique photos.
Continue toward the entrance of the bay, where you cruise around the historic island fortress Mamula. During the panoramic ride around the island, hear stories about its military past and transformation over the years while enjoying spectacular sea views.
From Mamula, head directly to the highlight of the tour — the famous Blue Cave. Known for its glowing turquoise-blue water created by sunlight reflections inside the cave, this natural wonder is one of the most popular attractions on the Montenegrin coast.
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes to swim, relax, explore the cave, and enjoy the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. Swimming inside the Blue Cave is an unforgettable experience and the perfect opportunity for amazing photos and memories.
After the break, begin your relaxing panoramic return journey back to Kotor, giving you one last chance to admire the incredible landscapes of Boka Bay from the sea.
