Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Ulaanbaatar to the Aglag Creation Temple, located about 100 km away. Along the way, your guide will share stories, cultural insights, and fascinating facts about Mongolia, setting the tone for a memorable day.
Upon arrival, explore the Aglag Creation Temple, home to rare natural formations and intricate man-made creations.
Wander through the temple grounds, known for their remarkable stone carvings that depict the life of Buddha. The temple trail covers approximately 2 km.
Continue with a guided forest hike, where panoramic views and a calm, refreshing atmosphere await. The trail leads you past beautiful rocky outcrops and up to Garid Peak, standing at 1,571 meters above sea level. The hike is a 4 km round trip with an elevation gain of 318 meters.
Throughout the walk, your guide will share in-depth explanations of Mongolian Buddhism, its history, and its living traditions.
