Description

Sail the Beagle Channel from Ushuaia, visiting Bridges Islands, spotting sea lions and seabirds, and reaching Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse while enjoying coastal views, wildlife and local history.
We begin the cruise, departing from the city's Tourist Pier and heading for the Beagle Channel. As we sail away, we enjoy the panoramic view of the Ushuaia coast. We immediately spot the most important buildings: the Maritime Museum (a former prison), the End of the World Museum, the industrial area, and Mount Olivia and Mount Cinco Hermanos.

We head to the Bridges Islands, where we make our stop and disembark at Karelo Island. It's important to note that the hike during this visit is easy and accessible to everyone.

We sail southwest, approaching Los Lobos Island, where, from the boat, we can enjoy the sight of sea lions, observing their permanent habitat in a wonderful setting.

Continuing our voyage through the Beagle Channel to the Lighthouse, we will head towards Los Pájaros Island, a habitat for Magellanic cormorants and Imperial cormorants and a prime location for spotting marine birds.

We continue to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name, where the Monte Cervantes shipwrecked in 1930.

After enjoying the Beagle Channel cruise to the lighthouse, we begin our return trip.

The return trip will take us through Paso Chico, overlooking Estancias Túnel and Fique. We return to Ushuaia, with a view of the imposing Mount Martial and the glacier of the same name as the city. Don't miss this fantastic experience that will give you the opportunity to learn about the biodiversity of the Beagle Channel and part of the history of this famous Fuegian channel.
