Description

A seven day safari in Nepal's Bardiya National Park, offering a high chance to spot Royal Bengal Tigers and one-horned rhinos in their natural habitat.
Escape the ordinary and embark on a 7-day wildlife odyssey into Nepal's Bardiya National Park, the country's most pristine and vital tiger conservation area. This immersive safari is crafted for the true nature enthusiast, offering a rare opportunity to connect with the raw beauty of the jungle and witness its inhabitants up close, far from the tourist crowds.

Your Adventure, Day by Day:
Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu, transitioning from the bustling city to the tranquil wilderness of Bardiya. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the peaceful sounds of the jungle at a comfortable safari lodge, your home for the next week.

Each morning brings a new adventure. Early risers will venture out on thrilling jeep safaris, traversing dense grasslands and riverside forests. With a high tiger density, Bardiya offers one of the best chances in Asia to spot the magnificent Royal Bengal Tiger in its natural habitat. Alongside our expert naturalist guides, you will also track the majestic one-horned rhino, wild elephants, spotted deer, and more.

The experience extends beyond the vehicle. Put on your hiking boots for a guided jungle walk, allowing you to immerse yourself in the sounds and scents of the wilderness. Your guide will teach you to read animal tracks and identify the park’s rich birdlife, with over 400 species soaring overhead.

A River of Life and Culture:
A highlight of the tour is a tranquil rafting trip down the Karnali River, the park’s lifeblood. This peaceful float offers a unique vantage point to spot crocodiles, rare Gangetic river dolphins, and a diverse array of waterbirds.

The safari is also a deep dive into the local culture. You will be welcomed by the warm and hospitable Tharu people, the indigenous inhabitants of the Terai. A visit to their village will reveal their unique mud-and-thatch homes and rich traditions. In the evening, gather for a mesmerizing Tharu cultural dance performance, a vibrant display of their music and storytelling.

An Authentic, Untouched Paradise:
Bardiya is a sanctuary of peace, largely untouched by mass tourism. The unhurried pace of the safari allows for genuine, meaningful wildlife encounters. This is not just a tour; it’s an expedition that promises to leave you with unforgettable memories, a profound respect for nature, and the satisfaction of having witnessed some of the world’s most spectacular creatures in their true home.
