Embark on a 24-day trek to the base of Mt. Kanchanjunga, the world’s third-highest peak. This challenging adventure takes you through pristine landscapes, traditional Limbu and Rai villages, deep valleys, alpine forests, glaciers, and dramatic mountain viewpoints.

Located in eastern Nepal near the border of India and Tibet, this trek offers an authentic wilderness experience for trekkers seeking isolation, cultural richness, and unspoiled Himalayan beauty.

Begin with an airport pickup and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After a trek briefing and preparation, take a domestic flight to Bhadrapur, then a scenic drive to Ilam. Continue with a long drive through the eastern hills to Taplejung district.

Drive off-road following the Tamor River to Sekathum. Begin your trek with a steep ascent through dense forest trails to Amjilosa. Walk past waterfalls and small Tibetan-influenced settlements to Gyabla. Enter a traditional Sherpa village in Ghunsa, an important acclimatization stop.

Take short hikes and rest to adapt to the altitude. Continue on rocky trails with dramatic mountain scenery to Kambachen. Walk through open landscapes and glacial valleys to Lhonak. Explore Kanchanjunga North Base Camp and return to Lhonak.

Retrace your steps through alpine terrain to Ghunsa. Ascend to a high mountain pass at Sele La Camp. Cross the Sele La Pass with panoramic Himalayan views and trek to Tseram. Approach the South Base Camp area at Ramche.

Explore the southern base camp at Oktang and return. Descend through forests and river valleys to Tortong. Enter lower villages with mixed ethnic communities at Yamphudin. Finish your trek through terraced farmlands to Khebang.
Take a long scenic drive through eastern Nepal to Bhadrapur. Return to Kathmandu by flight and enjoy a leisure day for rest or sightseeing. Finally, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
