Embark on a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp with a guide. Experience the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas, stay in community-run lodges, and hike to the iconic viewpoint of Kala Patthar.
Begin your adventure with a scenic 30-minute mountain flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. Trek through lush valleys and local villages, with a major stop at Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) for vital acclimatization. Continue past Tengboche Monastery to Gorak Shep.

Conclude your trek at Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). For iconic photographs of the Everest peak—which is not visible from base camp itself—hike to the nearby viewpoint of Kala Patthar.

Stay in functional, community-run lodges known as tea houses. Rooms are basic, generally featuring twin beds with shared washrooms. Hot showers, Wi-Fi, and device charging are available but usually require an extra fee.

The daily hikes range from 5 to 8 hours. A solid level of cardio and endurance conditioning is required. Because the elevation change is significant, building in one or two acclimatization rest days is mandatory to avoid acute mountain sickness.
