Begin with an early pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu and enjoy a scenic drive to Nagarkot. Arrive at the viewpoint and watch the sunrise over the Himalayan range. On clear days, take in views of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and the Everest region. Take time for photos and light refreshments (own expense).
Next, begin a gentle downhill hike from Nagarkot to Telkot. Walk through pine forests, traditional villages, farmland, and terraced hills. Meet your vehicle at Telkot and drive to Bhaktapur.
Take a lunch break (own expense) before embarking on a guided walk around Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Visit the Nyatapola Temple, 55-Window Palace, Pottery Square, and Dattatreya Square. Enjoy free time to explore local crafts and taste Juju Dhau (King Curd).
Finally, drive back to Kathmandu and get dropped off at your hotel.
