Description
Embark on a 12-day trek through the Annapurna region. Trek through forests, visit Tilicho Lake, cross the Thorong La Pass, and explore the sacred town of Muktinath.
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and onward to Chame, where pine forests, rivers, and mountain views welcome you into the Annapurna region.
From Chame to Pisang, follow a trail through forests and gorges with close-up views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. The route to Manang delivers wide Himalayan panoramas and traditional hillside villages.
After an acclimatization day exploring Gangapurna Lake and the ancient Manang settlement, the trail leads toward the quieter highlands of Srikharaka. Narrow ridges and rugged cliffs guide you to Tilicho Base Camp, followed by an early ascent to Tilicho Lake—one of the world’s highest and most stunning turquoise lakes. Rejoin the main circuit and trek through yak pastures to Yak Kharka and onward to Thorong Phedi. Crossing Thorong La Pass offers dramatic 360° mountain views before descending into the sacred town of Muktinath.
