Step into Oman’s past with castles, souqs, and clay. Visit Nizwa Fort, Bahla Fort & Jabreen Castle, create your own pottery piece, and experience the living culture of Oman in one unforgettable day.
The journey begins with a visit to Jabreen Castle, one of Oman’s most beautiful historic castles, renowned for its richly decorated ceilings, intricate wood carvings, and unique defensive architecture.
Next, we make a short stop in the ancient town of Bahla, home to the UNESCO-listed Bahla Fort. The guide will share stories of its history and legends as you explore this impressive stronghold. Afterwards, stroll through the traditional Bahla Souq, famous for local crafts, spices, and Omani products.
Our Bahla experience continues with a visit to a Pottery Factory, where travelers will not only watch the traditional process but also learn basic pottery techniques. Using a pottery wheel or hand-building, you’ll create your own clay piece and take it home as a personal souvenir.
We then enjoy a traditional Omani lunch before heading to Nizwa, the cultural heart of Oman. Here we explore the magnificent Nizwa Fort with its iconic round tower and wander through the bustling Nizwa Souq, known for silver jewelry, daggers, and vibrant market life.
The tour ends with a comfortable drive back to Muscat, filled with memories of culture, history, and creativity.
