Begin your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Salalah and head towards the eastern coast. First, visit Taqah Castle, a beautifully preserved 19th-century fortress showcasing traditional Omani architecture, historic rooms, and artifacts that reflect the heritage of the Dhofar region.
Next, discover the ancient port city of Sumhuram, which flourished during the frankincense trade and served as an important trading center connecting Arabia, Africa, and India.
Continue to Wadi Dirbat, one of Dhofar's most picturesque valleys, featuring natural pools, caves, lush greenery, and seasonal waterfalls (during the Khareef season). Relax, take photographs, or enjoy a peaceful walk in nature.
Then, wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding Ayn Razat Spring, one of Salalah's most tranquil natural springs, framed by impressive limestone cliffs.
