Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Kampala and head to the Ewaffe Cultural Village in Nagalama Mukono. Immerse yourself in Buganda heritage with ancestral practices like traditional farming, cooking classes for luwombo, fetching water from a traditional well using clay pots, pounding local coffee, and stomping fresh bananas to make banana juice known as omubisi.
Enjoy a farm tour with fresh fruit feasts, try indigenous fishing, play traditional board games like omweso, learn to weave crafts, and eat communally from banana leaves, a practice that connects you to the true essence of Buganda’s heritage.
After a delicious luwombo lunch, head back to Kampala and arrive at the Ndere Cultural Center in time for the evening cultural show. Celebrate over 56 Ugandan tribes on a single stage with a massive array of traditional indigenous musical instruments, songs, and electrifying dances.
By around 9:00 PM, the show will be wrapped up for you to be dropped off back at your hotel in Kampala.
