Discover the rural and artisanal side of Cajamarca on a half-day experience combining traditional stone craftsmanship with local agricultural life.
Your experience begins at approximately 9:30 AM with a visit to Huambocancha, a community recognized for its traditional stonework. Meet local artisans and see how they work quartz, onyx, and other natural stones to create decorative and handmade pieces. This stop gives you the opportunity to learn about local craftsmanship and see the techniques used by families who have preserved this tradition over generations.
We then continue to Granja Porcón, an agricultural cooperative surrounded by Andean countryside and pine forests. During the visit, you will explore the cooperative's facilities and its small zoo, where you can see different animals in a rural environment.
You will also have free time to visit the local store, where you can find dairy products produced in the area, as well as handmade textiles and traditional crafts. This part of the experience allows you to discover some of the products and traditions associated with the local community.
The tour combines local craftsmanship, rural landscapes, agriculture, and traditional products in a relaxed half-day itinerary away from the city center.
After the visit, we return to Cajamarca, with an estimated arrival at around 2:00 PM.
