Explore the Cusco City Tour and discover its most iconic temples and archaeological sites, such as Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
To begin the Cusco City Tour, we will first pick you up at your hotel and then head to our first stop, after which our guide will provide a detailed explanation of the tour. We will begin by visiting Qoricancha, one of the most important religious centers of its time. Inside, you will see several finely carved sacred Inca precincts. Next, we will head to Sacsayhuamán, where you will be able to marvel at stone walls of enormous size and weight, forming three vast terraces, one above the other.
Next, we will visit Qenqo, a highly religious site featuring altars inside the caves. Continuing our tour, we will stop at Puka Pukara and finally visit Tambomachay, an important site from the Inca period featuring sacred water sources. Essentially, it is a system of water channels that collects water from the depths of the mountains.
Finally, we will conclude the tour and return to the city of Cuzco.
