Located at an elevation of 5,000 meters (16,400 feet) above sea level, the Mountain of Colors is the second most visited tourist attraction in the city of Cusco after Machu Picchu. It is particularly striking for its natural colors, which are the result of mineral oxidation.

We start pick-ups from any hotel in the city of Cusco at approximately 4:00 AM.

Start of our tour. We will travel by vehicle for 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach our first stop, the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast at the Casa Ausangate Museum Restaurant.

After breakfast, we will continue by van for 2 hours to reach the Mountain of Colors bus parking area. During the journey, we will enjoy the stunning Andean landscapes and spot birds, llamas, and alpacas.

Once at the Montaña de Colores bus parking lot, we will begin our hike, accompanied by our expert tour guide for the route. As we begin the hike, we will take the opportunity to capture spectacular photos at Laguna Corazón. The hike will take between 45 minutes and 1 hour to reach the Montaña de Colores viewpoint. On our new route, you also have the option to rent segways or horses to skip the hike, subject to prior coordination with the tour guide.

At Rainbow Mountain, you will be able to marvel at the incomparable landscape of the Peruvian Andes and the mountain with its natural colors. Take plenty of videos and spectacular photos of the site, then continue the hike to the Red Valley viewpoint, an additional 35-minute journey (entrance fee of PEN 30). Please note: Those who no longer wish to continue to Valle Rojo have the option to return from Montaña de Colores to the bus station, after coordinating with the guide.

After the entire group gathers at the bus parking lot, we will begin our 1-hour-40-minute return journey by vehicle to the community of Cusipata to enjoy a delicious Peruvian buffet lunch.

Afterward, we will continue with the 2-hour return journey to the city of Cusco.
The tour ends at approximately 4:30 PM, about 1 block from the Plaza de Armas, for the entire group.
