Vibrant coral reefs, enigmatic underwater caves, fascinating wrecks, and schools of tropical fish: starting July 4, 2026, the Carrières des Lumières will plunge visitors into a unique immersive adventure in the heart of the oceans.
This creation amazes young and old by revealing more than 100 species of spectacular marine flora and fauna.
Thanks to state-of-the-art audiovisual technologies, this sensory experience offers a full immersion into the depths of the underwater world. Every detail is designed to envelop the visitor, stimulate their senses, and take them on a real journey into the heart of the oceans.
This immersive show offers a captivating encounter with the underwater world, in full size. Visitors encounter marine mammals, discover rare deep-sea fish, meet a great white shark eye to eye, and marvel at schools of darting fish.
Soon, they are swimming alongside giant blue whales, powerful orcas, and majestic sperm whales.
Beyond simple contemplation, the immersive experience invites awareness: the influence of humans on the oceans, and in particular on deep-sea species, is also addressed.
The experience highlights the fragile beauty of a world that is often invisible but essential. This immersive journey invites young and old to take a fresh look at marine life, while highlighting the richness and vulnerability of this unique ecosystem.

We would like to inform you that we regularly host school groups on weekdays.
The exhibitions may pose risks for people with epilepsy and are not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
Please note! The quarries are cool (14°C to 16°C in the showroom).
Animals are not permitted on the premises.
