Begin your adventure with an early morning arrival in Puno, where you’ll be welcomed at the bus terminal. Around 7:00 AM, transfer to the lakeside port and board a comfortable tourist boat. Glide across the sacred waters of Lake Titicaca, one of the world’s largest and highest navigable lakes.
Your first stop is the famous Uros floating islands. Step onto islands made entirely from totora reeds and discover the unique lifestyle of the Uros people. Learn about their centuries-old traditions, daily life, and craftsmanship, with the opportunity to purchase handmade souvenirs crafted from local reeds.
Continue your journey to Amantani Island, where you’ll be greeted by local residents and treated to a traditional lunch prepared by your hosts. Immerse yourself in the island’s distinct culture, observe daily customs, and enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. At around 2:00 PM, begin your return to Puno, arriving by approximately 5:00 PM. Enjoy a free evening in Puno before your night bus back to Arequipa at 10:00 PM, ending your day of exploration on Lake Titicaca.
