Description

Journey through Kraków’s underground marvels and its wartime history with a visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Schindler’s Factory Museum — an unforgettable day of wonder and reflection.
Sit back and relax as you travel in comfort to Wieliczka in an air-conditioned vehicle. Every detail of the journey is taken care of, allowing you to enjoy the experience without stress or haste.

Descend deep underground into the extraordinary Wieliczka Salt Mine — a mesmerizing world of shimmering corridors, vast chambers, crystal-clear lakes, and magnificent chapels carved entirely from salt. Admire intricate sculptures, impressive salt chandeliers, and the iconic St. Kinga’s Chapel, all created by miners over centuries. This unforgettable underground journey is a unique blend of nature, artistry, and legend.

After returning to Kraków, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a nearby bistro.

In the afternoon, visit one of Kraków’s most important and thought-provoking museums — Schindler’s Enamel Factory. This is not a traditional biographical museum, but a powerful, immersive exhibition that tells the story of Kraków during the Nazi occupation and shows how war reshaped the city and the lives of its inhabitants.

With a licensed expert guide, skip the long ticket lines and explore the permanent exhibition “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945.” Located in Oskar Schindler’s former enamel factory, the museum focuses not only on his story, but above all on the everyday experiences of Jewish and non-Jewish residents living under German occupation.

As you move through the exhibition, you will encounter original artifacts, historical photographs, and evocative reconstructions. Many of the galleries are deliberately narrow and dimly lit, creating a sense of confinement that reflects the fear, oppression, and uncertainty of wartime life. This powerful setting transforms history into a deeply emotional, lived experience.

Within this broader historical context, you will also learn about Oskar Schindler and how his factory became a refuge for more than a thousand Jewish workers. His actions are presented against the wider backdrop of persecution, deportations, and the destruction of Kraków’s Jewish community — highlighting both the scale of tragedy and the impact of individual courage.

This tour perfectly combines natural wonder with living history. Discover the beauty of the underground world at Wieliczka and the emotional depth of Schindler’s Factory. With comfortable transportation, licensed guides, and all entrance tickets included, it is a day of reflection, discovery, and unforgettable stories.
