Description

Spend a full day in Zakopane on a small-group tour (max. 8 guests), visiting a traditional wooden village and tasting oscypek cheese and local cuisine on Krupówki - without the rush of large tours.
Zakopane is one of the most popular destinations in the Tatra Mountains — and also one of the busiest. This tour is designed as a small-group experience (up to 8 guests), allowing you to explore the region in a more comfortable and enjoyable way.

With fewer participants, you’ll spend more time at key locations, move more easily through the wooden village, and enjoy Krupówki at a natural pace — tasting local products and experiencing Zakopane’s atmosphere without constantly waiting or feeling rushed.

Your journey in Zakopane commences with a captivating vista of the Tatra Mountains, which can be admired from the summit of Gubalowka Hill, accessible by a cable car ride. Zakopane, a picturesque town nestled at the base of the Tatra Mountains, enjoys year-round popularity among both Polish and international tourists.

Established in the 16th century as a collection of seasonal shepherd settlements, Zakopane has undergone significant transformation over the centuries, evolving into a remarkable urban center. En route to Zakopane, you will make a stop in Chochołów, a charming wooden village where inhabitants still reside in the original wooden dwellings constructed by the indigenous Polish highlanders—an area designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll even have the opportunity to step inside one of these historic houses and immerse yourself in the lifestyles of its former occupants.

Continuing your exploration, you will visit a Bacowka, a traditional shepherd's cottage, where you'll savor the renowned local delicacy, Oscypek cheese, and witness the artisanal cheese-making process.

Subsequently, you'll meander through the local, time-honored marketplace and stroll along Krupowki Street, replete with eateries, boutique shops selling regional products, and souvenir emporiums. After a satisfying lunch, your journey will lead you back to Krakow, passing by the renowned ski jump and concluding with a visit to a quaint wooden church on the outskirts of Zakopane.
