Getting to vieques:
You’ll need to arrange your own ferry or flight to get here. We reccomend booking ferry tickets 2/3weeks in advance if you look up puerto rico ferry, route from ceiba to vieques.
The last ferry departs Vieques at 9:30 PM on weekdays, and 9:00 PM on weekends. With our earliest tour, you will have time to make the last ferry at 9:30 as long as you preaggrange a taxi to be waiting for your when we finish. Contact us and we will let you know what time we get back to the meeting location —otherwise, we recommend staying overnight and enjoying island life a little longer ✨

Our meeting location is across the street from the entrance to ☀️Sun Bay Beach in Esperanza
All guests must arrive 25 minutes before their scheduled tour time, no matter which tour they book ,this rule applies to all tour times .We have a 10-minute check-in window:)
*Our tours run on a schedule so we can reach the bioluminescent bay on time and avoid delaying other guests/tours

What to expect / keep in mind
* You will walk through shallow water to get into the kayaks
*you get a little wet (it’s worth it, we promise!)
* you will be operating your own kayak so yes you do have to paddle :)
Moon Phases & best visibility
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon that is always present in the bay, but how bright it appears depends greatly on natural light conditions, especially the moon phase.
The darker the night, the brighter the bioluminescence appears to our eyes. Moonlight, even though beautiful, it adds light to the sky ,which effects visibility .

For the best visibility, we recommend booking:
* Day of the new moon!
* 10 days surrounding the new moon
* The week after the full moon on the early tour times

*You will walk through shallow water to get into the kayaks
*You will get a little wet( totally worth it! )
*You will be operating your own kayak(so yes you have to paddle:)
*PLEASE do not use bug spray or sunscreen

Our meeting location is directly across the street from the entrance to Sunbay beach ,you will see a big sign that's says AliKei Adventures with our logo so you will know your in the right spot:)

NON INCLUS
- We are not responsible for getting people to vieques, we only pick up and drop off at our meeting location. Travelers are in charge of their own transportaion to the island. Vieques is located off the east coast of mainland Puerto Rico ,to get here all travelers must get a flight or ferry over to Vieques. We reccomend buying tickets online 2/3 weeks in advance to make sure there is availability.
- From the ferry or airport you will need to arrange transportaion to get to our meeting spot. If you need help finding a taxi we are happy to provide you with a list of numbers to help get around the island, just contact us:)
- We have a 24 hour cancellation policy so please cancel before 24 hours of your tour if you want a full refund. If you miss your tour we will try to accomadate your group into another tour for that day, but that is not always possible if we are fully booked. We charge $25 per person for rescheduling within the 24hour period of your tour, all other rescheduling is free

Annulations
Cette excursion peut être annulée sans frais jusqu'à : heures d'annulation avant le début du voyage. Si vous l'annulez après les heures d'annulation ou si vous ne vous présentez pas à l'excursion, le prix total de l'activité vous sera toujours facturé. Tout retard à la prise en charge ou au départ sera considéré comme un retard.
