Start your day bright and early with a scenic drive through the breathtaking Carpathian Mountains, approximately 3 hours of stunning landscapes and fresh mountain air.
10:00 – Arrival at Libearty Bear Sanctuary, Zarnesti
Meet over 130 rescued bears at the world-renowned, ethical Libearty Sanctuary, spread across 70 hectares of lush oak forest. Watch them climb trees, play in natural pools, and enjoy carefully planned diets. Each bear has its own touching story, rescued from captivity and now thriving in a safe haven. (Note: children under 5 are not permitted for safety reasons.)
12:00 – Departure to Brasov
Enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Brasov, one of Romania’s most charming medieval cities. Stroll through the picturesque Old Town, wander along cobblestone streets, admire the vibrant buildings, and the iconic Black Church. Stop at Council Square to soak in the city’s lively atmosphere. After the guided walk, enjoy free time to savor a traditional Romanian lunch or explore local shops and cafes.
15:00 – Departure back to Bucharest
Relax on the drive back through the Carpathians, reflecting on a day filled with nature, history, and culture.
