Set sail from Sotogrande Marina in southern Europe and embark on a 2-day journey to Ceuta, a Spanish exclave on North Africa’s north coast. As you cross the Mediterranean, enjoy breathtaking views where two oceans, two continents, and three countries meet.

We recommend leaving an hour before sunrise, as nothing beats seeing the sun rise above the horizon to start a new day. The crossing takes approximately 5-6 hours, providing a good chance to spot marine life. Keep an eye out for pods of dolphins, turtles, moonfish, and even whales.

Situated on North Africa’s north coast, Ceuta lies along the boundary between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views of Morocco in Africa and Spain and Gibraltar in Europe.

There’s free parking along the road near the marina. We’re at Ribera del Marlin, next to Rosas. The boat’s stern displays both a Norwegian and a Spanish flag.
